April

April came with lots of emotions. Everything is turning real now, school will end, the daily routine that I had, has come to an end and life will be different for now on. And I'm so friking exited! I have always waited for this moment, I've always dreamed on doing what I want and just that, taking pictures, reading the books that I want, learn the things that I want, and TRAVEL. Of course I could do all this things while I was in school, but school consumed a lot of my time, and now I will be finally free. I will take the road that I want to take in life, my decisions will be really important or not, and I don't really have a plan, but as irresponsible as that sounds it really excites me. My plan in life is to be happy doing what I want, and what I am passionate about. Loving and sharing.
So school will end soon and then I will immediately be boarding into an airplane to travel to Europe and see again my wonderful second family. I called my second family to my closest friends, the ones I can be completely be myself, some of the people I love the most. I met them three years ago, in Brazil. We spend one of the best years, and then went apart to go back to our home countries. Now after two years of communicating by long writings on Facebook, lovely conversations on skype and chat, we are seeing again in real life!. I guess I still can't believe it, that I'm gonna see them again, I will travel to Europe, I will live crazy adventures with them again, but as closer as the date is, the more exited I get. Life has give me so much lately, and I feel so thankful. I try to give back this happiness by being kind to people and kind to life.

As happy feelings come to me, also nostalgic comes along. Of course I'm really happy that school is gonna end, but as the other day while I was in school, time suddenly stopped just as a photography. I saw the people around me, my friends. I realized that everything I wanted in my life in Puebla, came true. I arrived in Mexico lonely and sad. School has always been a bad experience for me, so I wasn't exited when I entered again two years ago. What I wanted the most in life was feeling happy again as I used to be in Brazil. I wanted true friends close to me, a place where I could be myself, where I could laughed, where I could call home. Suddenly I realized that in that moment, seating in my classroom, I had everything I wished for. I founded the true friends that I was searching for, I founded the place where I can be myself, and those people helped me to make the decisions of what I will do next, I founded my way back to my road. I suddenly begun to cry not for sadness that school was gonna end, but for how thankful I was being in that place, with that people that now mean so much to me.

Life can be so hard some times, but its up to me to change that and decide how to look at my problems and solve them. Life has been so kind with me, and now I know I am and will be kind to life back. I love to think as my philosophy in life:

"Be kind to people and the people will be kind to you.
Be kind to life, so life can be kind to you.
Be kind to your body and your body will be kind to you."

I discovered part of this philosophy thanks to my lovely friend Ursula, which is one of my friends I am so thankful to have now. The rest, life has thought me and I'm so ready to learn more.

April was full of little trips, lonely, peaceful times where I meditate things. I took photos of little moments, lazy sundays, cool people, life.

PS. I found my english so bad in this post, but I really hope that people can understand me.

Insecurity

The death beauty laying on the floor.
people have tried to help her with words of love.
she can't just throw away that garbage in her head.
instead she paint a fake smile in her face.
this will be over she reminds herself every day.
I wish that day could come faster, so I can fly again.

Ugly poetry that doesn't rime from my diary.
done. not again.

Spring is here

Spring is here, full of colors and flowers, one of the things I love the most.
I met Ursula the other day, a wonderful photographer that I found on the internet a while ago. I remember look at her blog, and her facebook fan page and think "we should be friends". I contacted her and begun to talk on Facebook, it was kind of awkward for me in the beginning, but then things came easily and we begun to talk like old friends, getting to know each other was easy.
We walked in our city, we met interesting and kind people. Spring is here and so the flowers. Tons and tons of beautiful flowers where there  for us to shoot. Images will explain better.

I love this image so much. This is Max, an american boy we met walking around. We had a lovely conversation, he talked to us like we where old friends, he was so happy and so full of life. Max is an artist, an community based public artist. He thinks that it seems from the hands of the children to bring different generations together, and its true!. "Bringing groups of people together through a single piece of collaboration and public art, can evolve into a local source of creative unity." He had worked with communities throughout the US, Israel,  New Zealand and Costa Rica. It is such an inspiration to know what he does and such an honor the opportunity that we had to met him!. I love how this image reflects his personality and heart, he looks so happy in his life, doing what he is passionate about.

A walk into reality

Real life is a bitch. I said it.

Recently I have found more and more opportunities to take photos. I have tried to expand my horizon by trying different kind of photography. Also all these events where I go and the people I meet, leads me to new roads and chances. I'm still a little fish, swimming in the big ocean, adventuring by myself. I have to admit that its kind of scary, specially for me. I'm naturally a shy person when I first meet someone. I used to hate my shyness when I was younger, I forced my self to not be that way and be an outstanding person. As a result I was even more shy because I wasn't being myself, I was just acting and feeling uncomfortable. As I accepted my personality, I begun to be more and more friendly, and of course it helped me a lot to do an exchange student program, it opened my horizons and ways of thinking. But there are parts of yourself that you just can't change and have to learn to live with it. Now I actually really like my shy clara when I meet someone new, its part of who I am and its not bad. I am also kind and really interested in meeting new people even when I feel awkward, weird or not cool enough. Now that I am meeting TONS of new people, this shy clara is now fighting with the adventurous one. I want to talk more, I want to know more, I want to meet more, but I just feel nervous. Now I try to remember that its a part of me that I accept and like, and things go a lot more easier. As always, kindness is my way of living, my philosophy. Being kind will lead you to meet kind people, and it all works out.
I have felt a lot lately, that feeling of "wow, I'm living my life, MY own life" when suddenly you just feel a tiny ant in a big world, and you realize you have to work hard for what you want, and then you feel nervous but so happy because you are fighting and working hard for your dreams. Its all a game, and we have to win!.
I love those kind of stories that I will remember with love in the future, the ones when you remember how you walked home for hours just to save every cent you could used in transportation but you saved it to something else. My father told me how he use to eat cereal almost every day  in collage, so he could take my mother to a nice dinner every saturday. All those sacrifices that makes you appreciate things more and remember all with love. I really think everyone needs a time of austerity so we can appreciate more things in life. Its funny but I see all this kind of fun, we have to see life as a joke and keep moving. Lets not loose hope!. I know a lot of times its not easy, but we really have to try.
Here are some photos of the recent events and concerts I have gone, enjoyyyy.
